I just had the most wonderful experience at La Badiane for my partner’s birthday dinner, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The staffs were incredibly friendly. A special shoutout to Đạt, who has been with the restaurant for a year. He greeted and served us our meals. He took great care of us, and offered some advices for our itinerary, which I really appreciated! We opted for the ‘signature’ and ‘fusion’ five-course dinner with wine pairing—the food quality was amazing. I left feeling so satisfied and grateful for such a lovely evening. I’ll definitely be back💕
Very aesthetically decorated French dining. 4 course lunch menu came with pumpkin soup, poached egg with some sort of foam, sea bass, caramel ice cream dessert. Most courses taste decent and presentation is really nice, so I’d say 5 stars for the soup and dessert. 4 stars for the poached egg as it was a bit difficult to eat and the flavors didn’t come together as well as I’d hoped for. However - the sea bass was totally overcooked! I questioned if it was sea bass for a second because of the super cooked texture. Considering this is the main course I would have to give overall food quality a 3 stars. Nothing to write home about, and I don’t think the main course deserved that Michelin star. All the servers were very polite, sweet, and attentive, although they seemed comfortable with explaining the courses in English, their accents were so heavy, it was difficult to understand them. I don’t believe someone who doesn’t speak English fluently would be able to understand them.
I tried the 3 courses lunch and every dish was a piece of art! They were both beautiful and delicious. Staff members were very attentive to details and great hospitality, overall a fantastic dining experience.
I tried the le dégustation fusion dinner set at La Badiane, which began with a promising amuse-bouche — salmon gravlax that delivered a delightful and unexpected spicy kick. Unfortunately, the experience tapered off with the subsequent courses. The foie gras terrine lacked the luxurious creaminess I anticipated, and its pairing with cocoa bean sauce felt disjointed. While the menu clearly showcased creative intentions, the execution didn’t quite live up to the restaurant’s esteemed reputation.
