Delicious inexpensive Xinjiang cuisine - the lamb chops are juicy and delectable!
Very good Xinjiang Food restaurant in Shanghai. Prices are fair and the food and drinks were approved by my friend from Xinjiang. The interior is nice as well and the view is amazing thinking about the fact that this is located on only the fourth floor. A fifth star will be earned when the service staff gets their job done in a smoother way. The forgot some dishes and we had to remind them which should not happen in a restaurant of this price class.
Nice atmosphere, attentive staff, lovely food and value for money, we left full and spent less than other nights in Shanghai, not familiar with the cuisine but felt a couple of dishes a little light in flavour perhaps due to melding with Western flavours. However still really enjoyed it
Xibo is my favorite place to eat Xinjiang-style food in Shanghai. It is a cozy and friendly place with a rich menu. Among others, I would recommend their delicious pilaf with lamb and veggies. Dumplings, grilled meat, and spicy dishes are other top choices. Last but not least, they serve delicious salted milk tea. I highly recommend Xibo to anyone visiting Shanghai and looking to try Western Chinese cuisine.
