This place USED TO BE awesome in Xintiandi but it has moved to the mall nearby. Food is still amazing but the ambiance is completely standard.
Located in a very good area Xintiandi, this restaurant is easy to find. The ambience is cozy and relaxing with a singer & band as a background music. The food is good, but I would not say excellent as this is not the best in my taste. The backribs tasted good but rather hard ro chew. The portion is just right for me, but for some people who love to eat a lot in quantity, this would be too little and expensive for the size.
For people loving Chinese food this restaurant is one of the best in Shanghai. Staff is very friendly and food is delicious! You have to try the eggplant or shrimp with wasabi mayonnaise, but there are also lots of other options. We go there at least twice when we visit Shanghai.
Recommended by our hotel, this Chinese restaurant in Xintiandi boasts delicious cuisine in a stylish setting. While it can be pricey, especially with multiple meat dishes, the duck is superb and the chicken in sauce is a must-try. We had a lovely night.
