Located in the heart of Bucharest, Casa Doina is an elegant dining establishment that beautifully marries traditional Romanian cuisine with a charming ambiance. Patrons often rave about the stunning outdoor patio, reputed to be the largest in the city, which offers a delightful dining experience under the stars. The restaurant is well-suited for various occasions, from romantic dinners to family gatherings, thanks to its spacious layout and attentive service. While many guests appreciate the restaurant's aesthetic appeal and the quality of service, opinions about the food are mixed, with some dishes receiving high praise while others have left diners wanting more. With a respectable Google rating of 4.5 and a solid presence on TripAdvisor, Casa Doina is a notable spot for both locals and travelers alike.

Casa Doina is an elegant restaurant, tradițional and with a professional service. There is a good choice for food and wines but to be honest the food is not the reason to comeback. Spare ribs were very dry and lamb chops was hard. Pork neck was better but in general, I'm sorry I will not book again waiting for two weeks
I recently dined at Casa Doina in Bucharest, drawn by its beautiful ambiance and promising special menu. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. Dishes Ordered: Duck Leg Delight and Famous Beef Cheek The Duck Leg Delight was a major disappointment. It turned out to be just a fried duck leg that is a bit too salty, lacking the depth and richness one would expect from a dish with such a name. The Famous Beef Cheek was equally underwhelming. It was an ordinary beef cheek stew, with nothing that stood out in terms of taste or presentation. Given its reputation, I expected something more memorable. While the restaurant itself is beautiful and offers a charming atmosphere, the food did not live up to the hype. Both dishes were ordinary at best, and considering the high prices, the overall experience felt overpriced and unsatisfactory.
This is a very large place and reportedly the largest outdoor patio in Bucharest. There was a wedding the night we were there so we had to be outdoors. Service was slow. But atmosphere was very nice, food well prepared. Enjoyed our evening.
We recently celebrated our anniversary with a meal here and was not disappointed! We sat outside in the summer garden which was absolutely beautiful. They also provide blankets incase it gets a little chilly but we didn't need the blankets. The atmosphere was immaculate and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend the cabbage rolls. Thank you for a lovely anniversary meal, I hope to be back next time I am in Bucharest and will be recommending to everyone that visits nearby
