Came here to celebrate a birthday, Took the 11 course meal - and the chef didn't disappoint! The experience was unique, vibrant, and diverse. Some dishes were absolutely amazing, a few dishes didn't blow us away, but they were good nonetheless. The service was absolutely outstanding, Staff was knowledgeable about the menu and extremely helpful, We also got a few great cocktail recommendations from them, and they definitely contributed to the great experience. All in all , it was an awesome experience, The price is expensive but well worth the amazing dinner we had. My compliments to the chef !

One of the most memorable meals I’ve had. Of course the quality of the food was outstanding, but it’s more the coherence of the menu that will stay with me and the proximity with the chef with whom I’ve had a fantastic exchange all night long at the chef’s table about Romanian and French history/culture/music, family influences on his cooking, European fine dining, drinks pairings and open feedback on the menu. True to the concept and roots of the restaurant, the wine pairing is only with Romanian wines. A generous journey through Romania discovering ingenious grape varietals, sometime blended with the international superstars, with top ups offered if the wine is made to last over 2 courses. Cocktail pairings also available to try a new experience. 20 course is a tough act to pull but the journey was smooth, rightly paced and I did not feel like I could not handle more at any point (that being said I have a bid appetite). The kitchen is happy to adapt the pace or to take a break to make everyone feel comfortable. Every dish was crafted with clear flavours, quality ingredients and added something vs the 19 others, served in a very visual way in the most beautiful plates. I’ve enjoyed most a veggie recreated oyster with mind blowing texture reconstitution, a frog’s leg bonbon, a lobster bisque reduced to almost syrup, chef Radu’s grandmother’s pickles and a daring desert with hazelnut, truffle, mushroom and pistachio. The vibe is like a dark and cosy modern winter chalet, that makes you feel warm and at home. Worth travelling to Bucharest especially for it, and unmistakably worth a visit if anywhere near Bucharest to experience Chef Radu’s generosity using classical skills at the service of a very creative cuisine, in a beautiful setting.

From the atmosphere to the service to the dishes, the overall experience was exactly what it needed to be. I chose the tasting menu consisting of 9 dishes (among which there were also some pleasant surprises). The drinks chosen especially for the dishes were more than good, some of them made up of surprising ingredients. Each dish also came with a story, which made the whole experience even more interesting. We thank the wonderful RAZVAN for the excellent service, and because he knew exactly how to present each piece of food from start to finish. I recommend it with confidence, it's an experience that really surprises you, and if you're curious to discover new tastes, it's the perfect place.

If this restaurant was In London it would have a star and a bunch of awards! Yar and his team are amazing, the cuisine is a delightful culinary journey through Romanian history and heritage, the local wines are deep and delicious. We’ve been 3 times now.
