The staff are really nice, but that’s the only good thing. The place feels more like a conference room, very empty and boxy. It’s overpriced too, especially since you only get 3 maki rolls per order when most places give you 4 or 5 for less price , ( the price of Maki around 7-9 $) salmon salad for 16 $ , The salmon’s quality is good, but there’s hardly any variety on the menu, mostly just the same avocado, salmon, and cheese in different forms. Only 2 types of tuna maki available, which is disappointing.
Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience and unprofessional. The atmosphere was very slow and careless, making it hard to get any thing. My friend was suffocating and she asked for a glass of water, and the waitress took an eternity to respond and they forget a main dish. The slow service really detracted from our experience. The vegetable noodelles was not the best, and i didn’t like the culiflower it’s irrelevant.Overall, I was left frustrated rather than satisfied.
The food (chinese) is average. The spring rolls came half frozen. then they brought the main dish (meet with black mushrooms) when I was still halfway through with the spring rolls. Then came the bill : 28,50 USD. Not cheap, but not too expensive, either. I wanted to pay in Lebanese Lira and there was the big surprise, printed on the bill : 2.850.000 !!! So the exchange rate was 1 USD = 100.000 Lebanese Lira !!!!!!!!! We all know that in the black market 1 USD = 85.000 Lebanese Lira. So, this place is robbing us 15.000 Lira in each dollar spent. When I called the staff, she told me it was due to the dollar fluctuation ! BS ! It's an absolute robbery ! So please don't mind going there : the food is nothing to write home about and the owners have more of a speculative banking business, than a restaurant.
Been coming here for a couple of years now, with all that's going on in Lebanon, this place has and till today still srves up excellent food and service. Great variety to choose from and everything we ordered was right on. Keep up the good work
