Nice place if you’re into Lebanese mezze in the heart of Beirut. A bit tricky to find for first-timers, but it never hurts to ask for directions ✌️🏻 The food was great, fresh and tasty. We tried the cauliflower and eggplant plate, it was very tasty. The kafta aarayis were a bit dry or overcooked. All in all its a nice restaurant, the staff are friendly and helpful and the place was clean most importantly.
The food is delicious, sincerely. We ate hummus and kebabs, lentil soup, felafel and liver cooked in pomegranate juice as well as different salads: all were tasty. The main problem is the smoke and shisha smell when you eat … suggest to allow smoking and shisha swapping only in the garden
I have been a regular client for years and even more regular one since the Beirut blast where many restaurants I used to attend were damaged. I wen today for lunch for the second time in a row this week and had an even worse experience than yesterday. Yesterday I ordered a vegetarian meal that is usually served cold but I wanted it heated. The dish went back to the kitchen and was served back to me after several no ures exactly the same claiming it was heated. Even the parsley garnishing had not moved. I had it sent again and came back this time warm after one of the waiters asked them to hear it in a pan. Today, I order a platter of Lebanese burger. After asking the waiter what was the difference between the burger on the menu and the burger platter (except for the price of course) he says the platter was served with side fries, as it is accustomed in any Lebanese restaurant. After a while, I get a plate with a burger on it where the bread, the fries inside the burger and the meat were cold. The whole thing looked disgusting as if taken back from someone's leftovers and of course, No Side Fries. I asked them to take it back because the whole thing was cold and I cannot it eat as it is. I left the restaurant never to come back.
Modern restaurant, with a very pleasant atmosphere! excelent reception! Typical Lebanese dishes very well prepared. The pumpkin kibbeh was delicious as was the hummus. The grape leaves with rice was the best I've eaten so far! fabulous 5*
