if you want a great culinary experience showcasing lebanese flavors and spices in a different way, i would highly recommend you to visit baron. this place is a gem in the heart of mar mkhayel they have such an original menu. I've been to this place 2-3 times maybe but i really like it. the portions are quite generous and it's perfect for sharing. the restaurant is clean and the waiters are super friendly. I just have one remark, i remember having the pork neck before it use to be way bigger than what it is in the picture, also it came quite tough, it definitely needed more cooking to break it down so it could be softer. other than that i would still recommend this place (don't skip on the desserts).
Food good, service good but no real atmosphere. The dining was exceptional with a nice and modern selection of food. The service is also very attentive. It is not a cheap dining but the price is justified by taste and presentation.
Great cozy place for a couple. The food was very original and tasty. Service was perfect. A little pricy but worth the experience. The cocktails were also good, especially the one infused with thym or zaatar. My favorite dishes were the Rib Eye steak and the Mushroom Starter.
Visited last night and it was one of the best meals of our trip; not just due to the quality of the food, but primarily due to the exceptional service from our waiter. I didn’t catch his name, but he looked the youngest and served my partner and I on the terrace. He had an incredibly friendly and pleasant manner and treated us as if we were family members. It actually made my night and has even been one of the standout highlights of our entire trip.
