Amazing experience! The staff is very professional and welcoming. We got the: - Sea salt edamame (5/5) - Rock shrimp tempura (5/5) - Salmon roll (4/5) - shrimp roll (4/5) [cant remember the exact names] - seafood ceviche (4/5) - chicken sando (2/5) We personally didn’t like the chicken sando and once the staff noticed we hadn’t eaten it, they insisted on giving us a complimentary dessert. Overall, highly recommend coming here for both the food and the vibe 👏🏽

Exceptional experience at Clap for a Saturday night dinner. The restaurant fills up later on in the night, so suggest booking toward 9pm+ I want to recognize the service which was exceptional, attentive and always there when you need it but never in your face. The terrace offers beautiful setting and stunning view over Beirut. For that alone, I could justify the overall price of dinner which was very very high. However, it did feel like some prices were high just for the sake of it. $24 for Broccolini? The food was overall fantastic, ceviche was wonderfully fresh and crispy salmon rice was incredible. But the two most disappointing dishes were actually the most expensive. The mini wagyu tacos were filled with overcooked well done wagyu, whilst Australian Wagyu Tenderloin for €130+ offered a small portion of average steak. The service and the vibe, together with the view makes up for the high prices, but keep an eye out for dishes with high price for no reason and skip the Wagyu - it does not live up to the expectation.

Booked a table in advance. We’re seated with my husband at the bar., not a table. The food was great, the vibe and the music were great too. Kept ordering food and drinks .. until the waitress came to talk to us.. saying that we stayed too long and that’s against their policy. We asked for the manager. He said the same “ policy “ . And that expecting 400 people which never showed))))) Disappointed Beautiful place with bad management

Wanted to watch the sunset over the sea while on my visit up Beirut. I was invited to Clap roof bar. It is in the roof if Annahar newspaper building. Iy is s as n impressively designed bar, both the indoor seating area as well as the outdoor terrace. There was a DJ and then a live old music band performing. The terrace has a nice view of the sea and the port, as well as the Solidaire buildings . We only had drinks so I can’t judge on the food quality. Prices are expensive , but considering the amazing terrace and the extremely polite and attentive waiters, it is worth the experience.
