High-end restaurant bar and probably the best sushi place in town! The setting, food, service, clientele, interior design and atmosphere are all at a high standard which makes your whole experience exceptional and pleasant. The highly recommended dishes, not to be missed are: marinated salmon, seared scallops, the crab salad and the star of the evening “the black cod”!! The only other place I had such a succulent black cod is at Zuma. This one was an identical copy. The only thing I had which I did not like was the crispy squid which was very chewy and almost tasteless, a waste of money and calories. Other than that, everything else was amazing. The prices are on the high side, but that’s something you’d expect in a similar high-end high-quality service. Super dinner for 2 with 2 white wine bottles and dessert: $200
2d time I go to the new location and it's still up to expectations. Quality of the sashimi is superior. Menu is varied. Would have preferred more maki options however have to say that we had one of the best crispy makis in town. Service is quick and attentive.
I walked in today and tried to make lunch reservations. August 27, 11:30 AM. I said to the hostess my dad is 90 and he needs a chair with armrests not too far from the entrance. She said that was not possible. I pointed to a chair with armrests and I said there’s one. She said she couldn’t move the chair. I said really? You can’t move a chair to help a 90 year old man? She said no nonchalantly. I said we were here last month and somehow a chair was arranged. She said she needed to ask management and get back to me (??!!) I said you need to ask management if you can move a chair for a 90 year old man? She said yes. I walked out. Don’t bother ask management. We had lunch at this place last month and service was much better. The waiters were very nice and helpful. They arranged for a chair with armrests and cushions. What was different this time? We were 7 then and the bill came out to $830. I paid $1,000. The hostess today was very rude. She couldn’t care less…
Avoid that place ! Pure scam ! Need major adjustments for food taste + service ! Mediocre taste !! Horrible experience ! What a waste of time & money!
