It's one of my favorite restaurants, and have been there for several times since few years ago. Their iconic dish is smoked salmon, which is actually an appetizer. I love it more than any other dishes and order every times! Their bread was good this time, but they used to server a different type one, which I liked better... I tried to ask them what happened with it but they seemed don't even remember... Anyways I really enjoyed lunch there. One thing, it became harder to make a reservation for lunch but somebody may cancel. Don't give up even if it's a day before!
My gourmet friend ,recommended this restaurant I was curios but last time her recommendation failed This visit was big time yes The creation and casual yet comfortable service from sommelier wife offer enjoyable evening
Excellent food and service! I had the shrimp risoto that was amazing! The pavlova need to improve since it was too soft and with the crunch expected.
We went at 9:30 in the evening and they were three quarters empty. We asked if it was ok to just get the hot chocolate and they said yes and seated us in a corner, again, plenty of table open. Our waiter I think was unimpressed and it felt like he threw the two trays at us, no napkins, no paper placemat as the other tables had. I would think it was just us but then I saw him fawn over the next people that came in. I'm not sure if it was that we are Americans or the size of the order but I wouldn't go back. I am bringing my children and their husbands in June and had planned on bringing them but not now. We had previously been there in the summer and didn't have the same experience, if we would have not returned.
