We recently took a tour of Tokyo Tower on a beautiful sunny day, and while the experience had its highlights, it ultimately left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. The views from the observation deck were absolutely stunning, offering a breathtaking panorama of the city that’s definitely worth seeing. Standing up there on a clear day is a treat, and we loved taking in the iconic skyline. One of the standout features for us was the glass floors that allowed us to look straight down and truly appreciate just how high up we were. It added an exhilarating element to the visit, perfect for those who enjoy a little thrill. However, aside from the views and the glass floors, we found the overall experience to be somewhat lacking. The exhibits and attractions within the tower didn’t feel as engaging or unique as we had hoped. There just wasn’t enough to keep our interest beyond the initial awe of the height. Overall, while Tokyo Tower is an iconic landmark and offers amazing views, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. We’d give it a solid 3 stars out of 5—worth a visit for the views, but perhaps not a must-do on your Tokyo itinerary.
Tokyo Tower was a lot of fun. The lobby is beautiful and the observation deck is very nice. The top deck was under renovation so we did not get to go up to that one. The views were great and we really enjoyed the windows in the floor. The gift shop is very nice and offers a lot of things to take back home for friends and family.
A very good dining, delicious food, high floor, excellent services. Thanks for Krestine and Inone all along our time, especially for birthday presents :)
I cannot stress this enough… this was the worst meal we had in Japan. DEFINITELY the most expensive. Service was suspect… dirty tables. Avoid. $330 USD for 2 people was the most expensive and overpriced meal we had in Japan by a LONG SHOT.
