Great dining experience! Food was amazing, chef was funny and friendly, and reasonably priced too Chef spoke limited english (but more or less enough to converse here and there), but as with most restaurants out there, I could imagine the experience being even better when you speak japanese/has a speaker in your group Fig & tofu dish was soooo goood
One of my favorite restaurants in Japan. Just order the “Omakase” course and sit back and be prepared to be delighted with the food over some great sake. A great place for bringing business friends or someone special
How can this place get better ? Exceptional staff , creative and exciting food. The ambiance is magical as is the restaurant itself. This was my second visit to this goldmine of a restaurant in a lovely neighborhood called Hiroo. The place has been packed both times so I suggest making a reservation well in advance. But worth it !
We went here with high expectations, and they were met. The food was wonderful and it was such fun to sit at the counter and watch the chef and his assistants prepare it. When the chef learned that I had taught English in Japan some 50 years ago, he called me "teacher" for the rest of the night. Highly recommended.
