Sushi ryusuke is a very tiny cozy shop located in the B1f in Gina very easy to find and convenience by subway. Chef was friendly and the service is fast. Highly recommended!
Sushi Ryusuke, run by the friendly Chef Ryusuke Yamane. This tiny sushi restaurant in Ginza that serves some rather unorthodox but delicious sushi. His training at kyubey belies the Kyubei style influences on the meal. A few otsumami served between the nigiri, and two different types of shari used depending on the topping.
From the start I was uncomfortable about paying the full large amount of money for this experience at booking . I started to find this place well before our scheduled time and was not expecting a cramped tired room in a basement with the toilet in the entrance in full view .The signage is subtle and in Japanese only . If you get lost you are not served after 10 min and your money is kept ! There was no ambiance and the chef was unfriendly. At one point he repromanded one of my friends for not eating all her rice . We were stuffed with way too much fish and rice . There is no alcohol menu or pricing so you get what you are given with no indication of where it is from or what you are drinking . It comes already poured . There was very judgmental attitude and I would not recommend this place . We felt the chef was judging us the whole time he watched and made me nervous so I made mistakes . He clearly despises tourists who are his main clientele 😚. It was a pity as we had anticipated this experience for a while and it spoilt one of our evenings .
The restaurant staff was rude and had a bad attitude. Nothing is worth that attitude, not to mention that it is supposed to be a “high-end” restaurant. Should absolutely avoid this sushi place.
