INCREDIBLE Black pork tonkatsu. Would come again. Shrimp tempura is overcooked though. High Note: Their tempura is very well done. Crab croquet was not bad. Very creamy. Free rice, cabbage, miso refills. Queue moves fast.
We arrived at 11.50am on Sunday morning and managed to enter the restaurant to queue (seated behind diners at the counter). They have many seated areas, the counter seats, a dining space behind and a second floor, so the queue moved pretty fast. After our orders were taken, we were shown to our seats but still had to wait about 15 minutes before the food was served. I had the 1880 yen set. Pork was very tender and really felt like it melted in my mouth. However, i thought the breadcrumbs used were dry, hence i rate this 4/5. Many options of sauces were available, and the staff kindly introduced it to us in simple English. PS, they have english/chinese menu available! Overall a pretty nice experience, but nothing mindblowing. I wouldn’t purposely make my way here but if you are in the area, you can consider :)
Delicious tonkatsu with super juicy pork. Definitely one of the best tonkatsu in Shibuya! If it's your first time, go for this!
Delicious tonkatsu! Tonkatsu is a delicious dish that's deep fried pork and you have to try it if you come to Japan! This restaurant serves good tonkatsu that I highly recommend
