Accepts online reservations so it's extremely helpful for tourists. Great food and drinks. Went on a weekday and was crowded with the locals. Price was reasonable given the environment and food. Actual eating area is at basement so need to take the stairs.
The first meal we had in Japan this summer! Found this place on social media and decided to check it out. The skewers were so so yummy and had so much flavour, I recommend getting their yakitori set as it comes with so many different types of skewers and all of them were worth a try. The service was amazing too, with the server constantly checking in on us for refills and if we wanted to order anything else from the menu. The style of the restaurant was super unique and you can see the chefs cooking and making the skewers in the middle of the restaurant. Most of the staff also spoke english as well and were very welcoming! We went on a weekday evening around 5pm and there was no wait, but the place got busier later on. -1 star because the price here is more expensive compared to some other skewer places we went to when we were in Japan, and we spent ~5,000 yen per person, including a table fee but we were able to try variety from the menu :)
Our go-to yakitori place with awesome food, service and prices. Consistently good year on year, and the servers are very attentive and warm. Short walk between Ginza and Shimbashi station and can be easily missed as it’s located at the basement.
Visited this restaurant in Ginza on a Thursday night. Arrived at about 5:00 pm and was able to sit near the grill. Hostess, wait staff and food prep staff were all very friendly. The food was very good and well prepared. In addition to the various grilled meats there was also a separate menu with specials. I would certainly return the next time I am in Tokyo. R
