Good ramen with good service. The ramen was enjoyable, but I’ve had better bowls in Tokyo at similar price points. Be prepared for a wait—there’s almost always a line unless you visit at off-peak hours, which can be a bit frustrating.
If I could I would give it a 4.5 stars. Pretty similar to what you get in the United States except the broth seemed a bit better with a bit more umami flavor. I found myself drinking a lot of the soup at the end despite having no more noodles left which is something I never do at other Japanese ramen stores.
Both Ippudo and Ichiran expanded outside japan. Ippudo more pedestrain in ambience, but has french fries for sides. Ok taste
Super delicious! Even better than Ichiran Ramen! No wonder locals recommended it! The broth is perfectly balanced, the noodles are chewy, and there are plenty of fresh vegetables! They serve peanut sauce and garlic on the side, so I could try two different flavors. I finished every last drop! I translated the Chinese menu of this restaurant for friends who need it.
