This meal was one of the highlights from our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed every course except the shiso dish. That flavor combo didn’t work for us. The highballs were also delicious. Highly recommend a visit here. Reservations for groups of more than 2 seem to be easier to acquire. Staff was friendly and did their best to work with our minimal Japanese.
Finally, we are here ~ I have bookmarked the place since last year and last time we failed to dine as the restaurant was fully booked. This is a MUST try restaurant in Tokyo, so many ways for having the tuna - sashimi (of course), tartare, different part of tuna with bones which is so unique and fun. But the best we think is the cooked tuna in sauce, that is amazing - the meat, the sauce and the bones are really juicy and tasteful. Main point is the price is very reasonable. We ordered the 8 courses menu for 2 persons and they are just 4000yen/pp. Actually 8 courses is too heavy for us, i can see not everyone can finish it all. And one more thing, the online platform is a good idea, and the staff mostly can communicate in English.
If you love TUNA you must love this restaurant. It is all about Tuna! We had a full menu, all the dishes included tuna and they were all authentic and delicious. Tuna never tasted better! This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in Japan, not only because of the good and unique menu, but also for the atmosphere. An authentic Japanese dining experience. My Japanese friend had booked this place and I am forever grateful for the unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and make sure to book in advance!
this restaurant was one of our favorite meals while in japan. we mistakenly came 45 minutes late as we thought our reservation was at 6pm and it was actually for 5pm. staff was kind to seat us still and was worried that we wouldn’t finish by the 7pm seating time limit but we still had more than enough time. every dish was fresh and delicious. i would highly recommend this place.
