100/10 - one of the best sushi I’ve had in my life. And I’ve had quite a few Super minimalistic. Clean. Perfect rice, perfectly balanced, every fish was well treated, with the accurate amount of sauce. Chef was very friendly and the atmosphere was magical. Can’t wait to be back. This is what sushi is all about.

Hakkoku is a must visit, Be prepared for 25 pieces, try to go on a pretty empty stomach. There is a great variety of fish which kept the night interesting, the various tuna courses were great as was the uni, mackerel, anago and ankimo. The service was good and the waitress was very friendly. chef Sato is a renown sushi chef and has done quite a few global collaborations across hallmark restaurants overseas including at Bondi icebergs. He was very friendly and added a great atmosphere to the sitting. Highly recommend and without a doubt one of the best Omakase restaurants I’ve been to.

The chef, Hiroyuki san, is a well travelled, english speaking professional. His sushi skills are absolutely mesmorizing to observe, and for the number of nigiri we got, the value is definitely there. I personally prefer his sushi over Jiro's. The true edomae style of omakase is just not my preference. I highly recommend you make a reservation to Hiroyuki san's shop before it becomes too difficult to book. My highlights are in the photos

This was the first meal we ate after a very long flight from the US West Coast. Had a fun little walk around Ginza looking for the location, to go to the third floor of an unassuming building. We were welcomed with such warm and wonderfully hospitality, all concerns were washed away rapidly. Sato-san was a wonderful host, the food was incredible and plentiful. All dishes were explained in both Japanese and repeated to us in English. There was such great attention to detail - when I picked up my glass with my left hand, immediately everything was reverse. Even the sushi was placed the opposite way on my plate, it was incredible. Sake was at the recommendation of the chef, to match the fish ahead. Everything paired wonderfully. I cannot explain how much praise I give this place. It was the first night, and by far the highlight of the whole adventure.
