My dining experience certainly did not live up to the hype of this restaurant. If you are willing to pay premium for good sushi, think twice before choosing this place. [What’s Good] The food quality and cooking technique were great: I was very impressed by the tuna pieces and especially the unagi one. [What’s Meh…] It doesn’t justify a $450 meal, echoing some other reviews. The entire set featured limited variety of appetizers and fish, making the dining experience somewhat repetitive and tiring towards the end. They also offered 3 maki and made pieces where the sashimi can barely cover the shari, which I’ve never experienced in any high-end sushi restaurant 🤔

The only Sushi restaurant without Michelin star I visited on this trip. Wow, the entire dinning experience was by far better some of the starred restaurants, the selection of the ingridents were professionally selected and the dishes were impeccably prepared and presented. We had taken 24 courses including soup and dessert, the sequence were well thought without any fancy decorations and each dish was tasty. Moreover, the ambient is closy and the services were excellent. This is the Sushi restaurant for me if I am only allow to choose one Sushi restaurant in Tokyo.
