Although we had a miscommunication with our order, the English speaking waitress was able to correct the mistake. The broth was tasty and the noodles were chewy. Perfect place to go if you just arrived in Fukuoka. I've tried a lot of ramen noodles, and this is the second place ramen I've been to.. It's not cheap, but baby seat is available if needed.
Enjoyed with friends, very nice waitress helping order when we have questions. Large size and regular just your choice.
If you are looking for great tonkotsu ramen in Hakata, this is the place for you! Located on the tenth floor of Hakata JR City (the building complex which also houses Hakata JR Station), Ippudo serves as good a bowl of ramen as you'll find anywhere in Japan, and at a very reasonable price. The gyoza is also outstanding. Highly recommended.
I wasn't going to post a review but I was quite disappointed about the food. I ordered a set with Ramen and 明太子 with rice. The ramen soup base taste like MSG but thicker and 明太子is quite salty, rice is not the original Japanese rice.
