Discovered this gem in fukuoka. We ordered the puffer fish set and some ala carte items. A new experience for us and would highly recommend it. Staff were attentive and had English menus. Definitely would come back to try other seafood.
I went to the cafe annex of the restaurant. You will be totally shocked to realize how affordable it could be considering such an up-scaled atmosphere. Just the entrance was already a treat of the Japanese vibe with three bonsais. My wife and I had queued for 45 minutes. It was worth the wait.
What an awesome spot! Booked a few weeks in advance after reading reviews and wasn’t disappointed! Google maps took us to the exact location however there is no English name on the outside but we took our chances. Once seated around the huge tanks of fish on the floor around the raised dining platform we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. We were served by a very attentive young Japanese waiter who spoke fluent English with a hint of an American accent (He kindly told us his father is American) Huge thanks to the waiting staff for such a great evening! Cant fault the food, service and ambience! Highly recommend
