Sushi here is excellent‼️ I have been here twice for lunch, in 2015 and yesterday, and I'll come again in the future. It's a small shop with only 10 seats. Lunch course takes almost 2 hours for 10+ dishes. Every piece of sushi is a piece of art and it's so delicious. It may be a bit challenging for foreigners coz you need to book well in advance and most Japanese doesn't speak much English.
Excellent value for money, with superb dishes, otsumami, and fantastic sushi, this place is a dream sushi spot. Despite being a bit far from the city center.
Fish was not fresh and some of the sushi were stale and had not been refrigerated The miso soup was tasteless and lukewarm Staff were lovely and very welcoming it was just the food that left a bad taste
Hungry, very hungry but when you have a severe allergy to all dairy products (the kind that can kill you) traveling is not easy and finding the right place is hard. So, we were relieved we found a guaranteed no-dairy place but were skeptical about the quality, especially when we saw the prices (low). Anyway, we were too tired and too hungry to keep going. How bad could it be? It was excellent. Each of us picked one of the fix menus and we were all very happy with the taste, the quality of ingredients and the price. None of us got up from the table hungry. What can I say? We lucked out and were very happy for it. (I am a New Yorker who has been half way around the world and if you read my other reviews you would see I am rather hard to please.)
