Well, there are some places which reek of the olden days. This bakery was exactly like that. We waited for about 20minutes, standing in a queue and the environment was something from an old picture postcard. We went for the Shrewsberry biscuits and the Mawa cake and both were superb. Being a history buff, this was a very sweet experience for me.
Been our family’s Christmas tradition since we were kids, following that even today in a different state. Fruit cake/ Shrewsbury biscuits is nostalgia on a plate ❤️
Kayani Bakery and Kayani's CAKE has been a favorite in our house since my childhood. Few years back, i found the counters were overpowered by the buyers. absolute chaos and we never used to get what was required, but recent visit was a game changer. The people (Security) has become very efficient. They are managing the Queue. and great to get the famous Kayani Cake, Bread and "Cheese Papadi". If you have not tasted this. please DO. Off course not to forget their famous original 'Shrewsberry biscuits.
