Great location for a restuarant. I'll start off with the positives, which is the service is great! The menu also is very interesting, however for the price I left a tad disappointed with a couple of dishes namely the prawns and the shahi tukda. The remaining dishes we tried were great which were the malai chicken tikka, avdi chicken kurma and the haleem. The firni was good too.
I've recently visited Aafreen for my birthday celebration with family. And I have to say, the ambience of the place will make your day! Also the service was so friendly and approachable. The food portion size and taste was amazing as well. Siddhi was our server/captain/waitress, a thank you and shoutout to her as well! If you are someone who clicks photos every time you see something catchy, you'll not stop yourself here, hahaha..
Bill no. AA008001, date 13.05.24, table no. 1 Poor quality chicken and biryani with aroma of matka rather than spices. We had ordered some chicken gravy with cheese garlic naan, roti. Chicken was not tender and roti size was way too small (really need to reconsider the size). It took 15 mins to get roti. Poor experience was with chicken biryani. Biryani had a typical smell of the matka in which it was cooked. Chicken was too hard (we were really unhappy for the quality). On raising the concern, chef confirmed that smell is of the matka. Well, we never wanted to have biryani with the aroma of matka rather than spices. Really sorry state where 4/5 star hotel restaurants are not able to get the authentic taste and satisfy the customers. Spending some higher bucks to get authentic taste and nice quality food isn't working. We were high on hopes considering the details on the first page of menu of Aafreen - inspired Indian cooking and evolution of cooking etc., but experience was not even close to the hope. Sorry, but way to go.
Visited Aafreen for Dinner recently. Without doubt, Aafreen is the best Indian Cuisine restaurant in Pune because of the quality of it's food and hospitality. The Restaurant Manager Diksha ma'am is as usual very cooperative and humble. She remembered our food preferences which shows that she is very intelligent and knows customers very well. She ensured that we are comfortable throughout our dinner. She is surely a great asset for Marriott and has a very bright future 😊 Thank u Dikshaji for such a wonderful service. Inside the restaurant we were attended by Disha and Aastha. Both of them are very humble & cheerful. They are very courteous and carry warmth in their hospitality very professionally. They attended us very well and ensured that we are fully satisfied with the restaurant services. A big thanks to Disha and Aastha. The happy, smiling and cheerful attitude which both of them carry is really very appreciable. Lastly I would specially like to give a BIG THANKS to Chef Lalji who is without doubt the Best Chef in Marriott Group. We have visited many restaurants of Marriott Group many times like Feast & Chingari at Lee Meridien, Paasha at JW Marriott Pune, Sorriso & Senses at Marriott Suites, Aasmaan at Ritz Carlton, Sahib Room and Kipling Bar at St Regis etc etc. But the quality of food prepared by Chef Lalji is beyond doubt 'The Best'. Even in my past review I had mentioned that Chef Lalji has magic in his hands and the food is prepared by him with lots of love. He is without doubt the Best of the Best Chef for Marriott Group. The taste of the food prepared by Chef Lalji is still lingering in my mouth and we are looking forward to visit Aafreen again and again for such a wonderful food. Thank you Team Aafreen and Marriott Group for such wonderful food and hospitality 😊
