Hitchki

Had the chance to visit this place over Christmas the day before. It's got a pub as well on the terrace. But I was there for the restaurant one level down to try out the food. The ambience was good and had got that dark bar look with an actual bar at the centre. We ordered "Man chah ho" soup - yes they have a very innovative word play with Bollywood mix - this was THE best soup I have had over the years. Definitely would consider it a gold standard for others to match. We ordered "Sarson ki jaroorat ho Jaise" for mains. It was really really well done and tasted exquisite with the makki di roti which were soft and tasty. Definitely enough for 2. We also ordered Chefs special appetizer for the day which turned out to be Veg Hara bhara Kabab which was very good though could be even better maybe. The mayonnaise it came with made it more awesome to eat than the actual dish itself. Only complaint I had was the Virgin Mohito we ordered. I was surprised they got it so wrong. It was too sugary and ended up tasting like toothpaste. We gave it back and ordered a Guava and watermelon based mocktail "kuch Khatta kuch meetha" instead. This was more like it and we loved it. So apart from that mohito fiasco, everything was very good. It was pricey mind you but I was happy it wasn't just a namesake priceyness. It actually translated to good food in this case. We had really best experiance in terms of service, vibe and ambience. Snacks and starters were good but needs to improve in biryani. Biryani was really worst and not having proper aroma and taste however mutton was stale not fresh. Talking about vibe it was really good. We have tried 1) Konkani Fried Chicken ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2) Hamari Spring mein roll ⭐⭐⭐ 3) Apne mutton ko lagaan do (Mutton biryani) ⭐❌❌ First two item's preparation was good need to really improve in biryani deck. We two office colleagues went there for a beer in the evening. The atmosphere was great, enjoyed the music. We ended up having dinner. Food was good and service was prompt. staff very courteous.

thank you Hitchki for ruining the most important milestone for our family. made a dinner booking today 17 Jan at 9pm with an explicit call out that we are coming to celebrate our kids 18th birthday Never again Hitchki Belapur Purva at reception confirmed the booking and i also in paralell booked through Eazy Diner with a clear mention of my kid turning a major today purva greeted us and wished my son and mentioned to go to first floor as we entered, a family of 6 Walked out because of not being attended to. the service staff was in shortage and they were literally forced to be there. no smile, no acknowledgment. we ordered and was utterly surprised to know they do not have mustard sauce. service was pathetic and we asked paid and walked out even a smallest of restaurant will offer a pastry to celebrate the birthday. it could have been charged but the very act and intent was missing. the manager was missing. i went to hitchki because of BKC experience never never never ever again to Hitchki at Belapur, Navi Mumbai
