Amazing Culinary Experience at Peshawri - ITC Maratha I recently visited Peshawri and was blown away by the exceptional food and service. The variety and flavors in their dishes are outstanding. The paneer and tandoori vegetables were spiced to perfection, while the rolls were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Special mention goes to their Daal Bukhara—it was creamy, rich, and one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Every dish was a perfect blend of traditional spices and expert preparation. The presentation was also great, and the fresh accompaniments like sliced onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes added a nice touch to the plates. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine. I will definitely be coming back!
An epicurean evening. On a rainy evening I decided to rekindle my memories of a memorable Bukhara meal at the ITC Maurya, Delhi over a decade back. Luckily I got a table and quickly chose the single diner menu which is the best for a solo diner like me. The service is impeccable, personalised and attentive without being intrusive. The ‘daal makhani/kaali daal’ is the star of the meal, absolutely lip smacking to be relished with a soft paratha or roti. A spoon of the daal by itself is also a treat to the taste buds. The kebabs were well done, the seekh kebab, malai chicken tikka and the mutton with a dash of lime and the steaming hot roti or paratha with daal is sheer ambrosia. The butter chicken was good but sadly I couldn’t even finish half of it. To end the meal, the malai kulfi does the trick. It assuages the spice burst of the previous course. The paan kept at the exit is absolutely a must to embellish your gourmet evening.
