If Indo Chinese cuisine is your jam, this is the place to be at Kolkata. We were staying at Taj Bengal for our anniversary and went there for dinner. Mr.Nasir suggested great food options. The service was impeccable.
It's a Chinese cuisine restaurant of Taj Bengal Hotel Kolkata.. The food and service are both super... very good ambiance and delicious food..luxurious interiors and good selection of dishes..
We had an amazing experience right from the process of reserving a table to help with selecting the best dishes as per our dietary preferences. Everything tasted beyond excellent. A special thanks to Mr Ansghuman and his entire team for ensuring we have a lovely dinner.
Very stylish and upmarket restaurant that get their food right... almost always. We loved the crispy lotus stem, the seasonal Asian greens, and pretty much everything else we ordered. The Rioja was good too, as was the jaggery ice cream that we had as dessert. The ambience is stylish and upmarket too, as you would expect in a 5-star hotel. Where we were somewhat disappointed was in the service. While Debasish was around, he gave us the best recommendations and that matched our taste perfectly. And then all of a sudden, he disappeared and was nowhere to be found thereafter. Perhaps it was the end of his shift. But the others could not match up to his attentiveness and at some point in the evening, it felt that we were made to wait just a tad too long for being served. Not something I would expect in a place of this stature.
