Went to katsuri to taste Bengali cuisine and it was very tasty. We had the jumbo prawn malaicurry and the shrimp in taro leaves, both were delicious but the shrimp was slightly on the small side for a jumbo. Unfortunately they didn't have the shrimp cutlets that we were really looking forward to tasting, as well as the medium shrimp curry. Also, we asked which cold drinks they had and they offered an option that we accepted (lime soda) and they ended up charging us the price of a fresh juice and not the price on the menu for the "cold drinks" when we asked what they had. They should've said they didn't have any cold drinks and that they had x, y & z fresh juice and that they're more expensive.
Authentic Bengali dishes with authentic taste. The interior is okish. We went there for an aiburovat ceremony. Their arrangement for that ceremony is too satisfying. The taste of the items included in the special iburovat thali is nice. Rather than that we order Dhakai Murgh Pulao. It is also tasty. Overall a good experience with well behaved staff.
Kasturi behavior is very good and the food and everything is best i garunteee it, it was a pleasure experience on my side 👍🏽
It's terrible attitude of order taker Mr. S. Roy , we feel like did crime to came for lunch. We came at 1.55 pm and ask office Thali at 2.03 pm. They refused terribly. However now ordered for lunch let's hope will get good service. Suggestion for management: please groom the order taker as per the reputation of Kasturi for long time survival.
