The sherbets were great and very refreshing, each of them! More than that, it has a great history and story behind it, which dates back to 1918 and is related to our freedom fighters. You can see the names of the famous people starting from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose to Uttam Kumar, all who have come to this shop and tasted their drinks. Truly amazing atmosphere!
Paramount is a very old well-known soft drinks shop. Must try their curd-based drinks. These are very good in taste. Must try- Cream green mango Cream strawberry
The place has been a good sherbet shop once upon a time. Now, there is nothing called as 'customer service'. The quantity of the sherbets are reduced and customers cannot opt for any sherbet without ice. They will decide how your drink should be and you won't have a say in that. If you prefer your drink without ice or without sugar, you might be disappointed. They do not accept any online payments nor cards and will ask you to pay cash only. Most of the sherbets are synthetic syrup based sugary drinks.
Paramount - the name is enough. So many celebs have visited this place and newspaper articles published on this place. It still has its old world charm with stuffed horns, marble table tops and raftaar. You can choose from a variety of cold drinks and shakes - from simple syrup based to malai and cream based. Quality is top-notch and prices are reasonable.
