I was hoping for a more flavorful mutton mandi at the Prince hotel. While the meat and rice were cooked well, the spices seemed to be lacking. The ambiance was nice though.
Biryani is soooo good. Affordable and tastes authentic with elegant blended masalas.
The hotel is located close to the city centre. The team at the front desk talks to you like they are doing you a favour by checking you in/ answering your questions. The washrooms in the rooms are terribly maintained. On the day of checkout, the housekeeping team just barged into the room without following any protocol. Mind you, I was a single lady traveling. Luckily I was on my work desk so it wasn’t embarrassing. If you go for breakfast be prepared to get served by stern and irritated team members. Overall I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone. The entrance to this eatery belies the deliciousness inside. This is a pretty new restaurant and even though it was after 2, we had to wait a few minutes till a table freed up for us. The repast was tasty, clean and unlimited right from the farsan to the lassi which is jokingly referred to as Bhuj Beer ! The servers were warm and hospitable , insisting we have just one more for them and piling our plates with crisp warm jalebis ! We wanted to eat there again in our last day in Bhuj but sadly had to miss because of lack of time . All of us rang the bell loudly and gladly will go back again . Thanks for a wonderful taste of Bhuj !
