Platform 65 in Hyderabad is a unique dining experience that captures the imagination of both children and adults alike. This train-themed restaurant offers a playful ambiance where food is served via miniature trains, making it a hit with families. While the concept is captivating, the feedback from diners has been mixed. Many appreciate the creative environment, especially for children, but there are concerns regarding food quality and service. With a Google rating of 4.2 and a TripAdvisor rating of 3.0, it seems to attract a diverse crowd, including families, couples, and solo diners looking for a quirky meal. However, some patrons have pointed out the need for improvement in food preparation and staff training. Overall, it's an adventure for the senses, though diners should go in with tempered expectations.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. My recent visit to Platform65 KPHB was nothing short of a nightmare. I ordered butter chicken, expecting a delightful meal, but what I was served was an abomination. The food was clearly old, reheated, and had a strange, off-putting smell. The chicken was dry and rubbery, and the gravy tasted like it had been sitting in their kitchen for days. To make matters worse, the staff was completely indifferent when I raised my concerns. No apology, no replacement, nothing. It’s shocking that a restaurant with such a concept would serve such substandard food. Save your money and your stomach – avoid this place at all costs. Dining here is not just disappointing; it’s insulting. Never going back!
Kids will like environment, but looks dusty and old. Server touching rotis wth his hand to serve ,which i did not liked. Mutton is not cooked well in biryani. For food its not good, for kids they will enjoy seeing train.
Starting with entry to the restaurant - its in busy area but has ample basement parking space. As we reach restaurant, we are greeted by few smiling faces but confused folks who did not seem to be too comfortable with english or hindi. We were guided to our tables. Ambience is good and kids love the train concept coming to the food part - waiters are clueless on the menu - if a particular dish is spicy or less spicy, what is the portion size, any other details of the dish making it a bit difficult to try going for a new dish. We stuck to known dishes. Though the restaurant was relatively empty, service was quite slow. Overall, food was decent to good. As we stuck to known dishes, we didn't get any surprize. Dal tadka was awesome. Overall, decent experience but entire staff seemed a bit confused and had little or no knowledge about any of the dishes to be able to guide us on their recommendations. having said that, staff was helpful, polite and tried their best to make our experience better.
