The restaurant is very pretty (located on the 10th floor). Food portions are small but taste really good. It serves 1-2 people! For experience, it's a nice place to visit.
Ok I am biased, I do not have benchmark for non veg food ( as I do not eat) but wife and kid said this was good. The vegetarian paneer sabz was nice too done in dum style. The server was was nice she (Pratima) definitely helped us not to over order and waste as we did it at other places. The drink of kid was nice too. The paneer was plentiful and oh so melt in mouth experience. Very relaxed nice ambience right in hustle bustle of the busy city. Very light it no noise. Good light on eye refined decor. Good place to relax and have nice food. I would have bought their membership with those many offerings if I could use them all
This was my second time at this restaurant. Last time I ate was in March 2024. That time I ate alone and this time I ate with a large team. I did not like the food last time (large thin roti and koftas) and this time as well (awadhi cuisine fixed menu). I am vegetarian so this review is for vegetarian dishes only. This food is over rated and over priced. The restaurant has no views at night and it can feel low on energy. Last time I clearly reacll the roti was not soft and was dry. This time then curry’s and dal where not tasty to match the reputation and price. Biryani and Raita was nothing special either. The only two dishes in Awashi fixed menu is liked was a paneer based kabab, and kheer. The spinach kanas were also passable. We all laughed at the jumbo gulabjamun. The apricot desert was too sweet. Finally the pan was also on the sweeter side than expected. I was willing to give the restaurant a second chance but now having tried a variety of dishes I am convinced that I do not like the food here. The servers at Golconda restaurant at the hotel have more polish than the male servers at Dum Phukt. So that also did not stand out for me.
Average ambience , over priced as per ambience and portion size. Went with family for birthday celebration, informed them prior and we were eligible for complimentary cake but no staff offered or asked for it. I would suggest anyone coming here to go other place
