Taj Mahal Hotel in Hyderabad, India, is a mixed bag that offers a unique glimpse into South Indian cuisine amidst the bustling city life. Located in Narayanaguda, this establishment is known for its warm hospitality, with friendly staff who strive to make your stay comfortable. While the ambiance is generally pleasant, it’s the food that draws patrons in, especially the vegetarian options and South Indian specialties like Dosa and Idli. However, guests have reported inconsistencies in food flavor and spice levels, so it might require a bit of navigation. The hotel is not of very good quality. The food is either too bland or too spicy. When I visited with my family, we ordered a few dishes, but none of them were enjoyable. Even though we requested non-spicy food, it was still very spicy, and the flavors were not good. ,The only decent thing was the soft drinks, but I couldn’t tell if they were branded or local. If you are nearby, you can try it, but it’s not worth going out of your way for.
I had a pleasant stay at taj. The staff were friendly, and the check-in process was quick and easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was great, close to restaurants and attractions. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would stay here again
The service is really bad. I ordered for special lunch thali and the server demanded that he cannot get more curry because there is a limit to it. I asked for reference and fumbled around, and his boss intervened. Noticed heavy Anti-Muslim attitude with the servers. Shameful behavior.
I have been to Taj twice during this month. The service has become pathetic now. The order taking is delayed and whatever food you ask, you are told it was over by 9:00/9:30. The menu booklets are also in bad shape. With such experience, we can say only the name Taj is remaining now, services have reached its low. High time for the management to think over and do something to bring smile to the faces of customers.
