Fantastic stay at Mandarin Oriental, Prague! The hotel is ideally located right next to Charles bridge and very convenient for sightseeing. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet and facilities very well maintained - Try the sauna at the fitness for a great relaxation. But above all, what makes the hotel stand apart is its dedicated Team - All the staff met were definitely 5*: Housekeeping, lovely Breakfast Team, Bar, the Bell Staff and Concierges in the lobby, Night Reception. Special thanks to Oriol for a wonderful check-in experience and Florian, Front Office Manager for all of his kind assistance and knowledge of Prague. I will definitely miss the hotel and look forward to returning hopefully soon.
There's really nothing to say except that this is the best place to stay in Prague. It's ultra-safe and quiet (their neighbours are the Japanese and French embassies), they are within walking distance of the Charles Bridge, Castle and touristic center of town, and they have the best service in the city. I wish I could name everyone here, but Florian the Front Desk Manager is cool and collected, super professional and one of the best in the business! This is the ONLY place I would stay in the Czech capital. Mentions also for the night reception and Oriole (?) who checked us in who was so nice and helpful and the breakfast staff who were quick and efficient every morning !
Under new management (the original owners sold the business to their cousin the chef). Therefore, the quality and price are the same as before the pandemic! Recommended.
My family use to come here all the time, the food was delicious and portions were good. Ever since new management took over, its ashame how bad it’s gotten. They’ve removed some of their most popular dishes and everything else is just slop. 2 of our guests couldn’t even stomach to eat their entrees. We ordered a “love boat” for two of sushi and Sashimi… what a joke. $60 and you got 1 sushi roll and some small pieces of fish. On a plate! No boat like you expect to see at most Japanese restaurants.. it was a $60 appetizer at best. I give 1 star for the quality of the sushi (for now) Over all, it’s really sad how bad it’s gotten when it use to be so good. Unlikely that we’ll be back anytime soon.
