Foreigners love hanging out here. I saw a group of english men & women having a great evening after their work. Hard to find a place. I had to wait for a couple of minutes, It's one of the most iconic and crowded cafes in the world. Food was good as usual. The ambience is just like the way it has to be, old school! The menu is over priced for the locals. No parking!!
Over priced western food. An average Pesto Pizza for almost 900 rupees is insane! However, they still has some great local options. The Buff Cheese Roast Sandwich was delicious and decently priced at 350 rupees. The beer was expensive for Mumbai prices but expected from a pub at this location. They offered us a complimentary Chocolate Pastry towards the end of our meal and that was delicious! Definitely try out the pastries at this place! The overall vibe at Leopold, with its rich history and great location, definitely is the biggest selling point for it.
Excellent choice of food in wonderful atmosphere The portions are on the large side . You can choose from Indian , Chinese & Italian all cooked to a great standard . Service is particularly good even though the place is extremely busy . Didn’t try the cakes but they looked yummy . Having read Shantaram it added to the overall experience
Leopold Cafe is a must-visit spot during any trip to Mumbai. It carries a sad history, but its vibrant atmosphere keeps drawing people in. The place is always packed with visitors, so while the service isn’t particularly special, the experience is still worth it. I tried spicy guava here for the first time, and wow, this drink is crazy! Bold, refreshing, and definitely a unique twist. If you’re in Mumbai, stop by for the history, the energy, and that unforgettable drink!
