The food was amazing, I never imagined that I would like coconut based soup but I fell in love with it. More than the food, the restaurant tour was the highlight of the night for all of us. If you visit the spice route don't forget to ask for the tour. They have ancient relics and wall paintings throughout which are placed in a way to string up a really nice story which relates to the Hindu epics both Ramayana and Mahabharata.
Good ambience, well crafted. Good place to spend some quality time. The food was good and the cocktail drink was excellent.
A special thanks to Mr.Sparsh, who went above and beyond in making us feel truly cared for. Mr. Rohan also deserves heartfelt gratitude for his impeccable service at The Spice Route. Every meal was a masterpiece, not just in flavour but in the love and energy behind it. It felt like each dish had a story, a devotion that elevated the entire dining experience.
This restaurant is not-to-miss. I had such a lovely dinner here with a friend that I returned the next night (by myself!). The food is incredible quality, including things I had not tried before and thought that I may not like (eg mutton curry). The friendly staff also gave me a tour of the restaurant, giving me the background to all the amazing architecture, which made me appreciate all the thought that went into building and decorating the beautiful place. Wholeheartedly recommend.
