After 4 years, we finally revisited Saravana Bhavan, and it felt like a warm, nostalgic hug! This iconic South Indian restaurant continues to deliver an unparalleled experience with its authentic flavors and impeccable quality. We indulged in a variety of dishes, starting with the classic masala dosa and onion masala dosa. Both were crisp, perfectly spiced, and paired wonderfully with the fresh coconut chutney and tangy sambar. The banana chips were an excellent addition, crunchy and seasoned just right, making for a delightful snack. The beverages were the highlight of our visit. The filter coffee was as rich and aromatic as we remembered, instantly transporting us to a South Indian household. The lemon soda was refreshing, offering the perfect balance of tanginess and fizz. What hasn’t changed is the restaurant’s consistent quality, swift service, and clean ambiance, even during busy hours. Saravana Bhavan is more than just a meal; it’s an experience that feels like coming home to timeless flavors. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic South Indian food. It was worth the wait, and we can’t wait to visit again!
We visited here after a long time.... We love their taste of dosa and filter coffee. This is highly recommended restaurant for south Indian delicacies .
Efficient and delicious breakfast of dosa and chai. Very tasty, staff were helpful and an excellent choice to start the day if you are staying nearby.
I ordered Tamilnadu meals and taste was ok, however sambar was not up to the mark. I taked to one other customer and he too said the same thing. Also, a family asked to pack the idly which they couldn't eat and staff did packed the idly BUT not the chutneys and sambar.
