While I was exchanging money in Old Delhi, I casually asked where I could find good Indian food nearby, and the owner immediately recommended this restaurant. This restaurant, established in 1913, is definitely one of the best Mughlai restaurants in Old Delhi. I ordered the Butter Chicken with Nans, and it was incredibly delicious. The place was also packed with customers. I highly recommend it!
Visited this hotel when we were on our trip to delhi, This hotel inside a small gully in the main street, You need to find it. No that big hotel, cleanliness is not that good, Saw many foreigners coming for lunch, Hotel has a good name for it. Large menu and table delivery is also fast, Must try if you are from outside of Delhi.
The Iconic “Karim’s from Jama Masjid” is often a bucket list for must food enthusiasts. But visiting this place is a surreal experience. Reaching it is a task, tucked away in the narrow lanes of Jama Masjid area, the entry is a blink and miss! But the food is soul quenching. Pros: Try their mutton nihari and kebabs with khameeri roti! Cons: Commute to the place is irritating!
Tucked away in a bustling market street this place came highly recommended, not easy to find so make sure you’ve read up on where it is as it is tucked down an alleyway so drivers will not be able to drop you outside the front of the restaurant. The food was delicious - would recommend the chicken tikka and butter chicken. High turnover of clientele so expect quick and no frills service. On the pricier side compared to similar establishments but it has a big name in Delhi if you like your char/ tikka meats. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.
