Great atmosphere.. friendly staff.. Mouth watering and delicious food! The menu offers a variety of options, and everything is well-prepared. Prices are higher on the pocket for the quality and cuisine. Highly recommend for a family dining experience. MUST VISIT!!😇
Walk down memory lane for me to enjoy the Bengali Cusine at Oh! Calcutta. The food was good, but just felt that the deliciousness factor had dropped a notch from my previous visit many years back. The fish cutlet and kassa mangsho with Luchi were awesome !! Service was very good but the restaurant could do with a change in lighting. Overall a very good experience!
This restaurant was a short (but precariously across traffic) walk from the Bloom Hotel where my tour group was staying on our final evening. We were a group of 15. There seemed to be a bit of confusion with the orders and the computer but not really a problem. It can be difficult with separate bills, etc. I had Gol Moriah Chicken which had a very interesting black pepper sauce that was different than those I had earlier in the trip. I enjoyed it very much with the bread that the waiter recommended.
We visited Oh Calcutta for lunch on a weekday and although we had gone there for buffet they only had ala carte as they have buffets only on weekends. The restaurant is nicely done and the servers were attentive. In starters we had their prawn cutlet, fish fry and chicken murshidabadi which were all very well done and the accompaniment dips went very well with them. In main course we tried Prawn malai curry and kacha lanka dhaniya chicken which were both good in taste. Their prawn morich pulao was very well cooked and a must try. Luchi were also fluffy and hot but their chicken biryani was average. A must visit for Bengali food lovers and those who want to try Bengali cuisine.
