Excellent sweet shop in CR park market no. 1. Famous for its traditional Bengali sweets . Especially the nolen gur items during season - Nov to Mar. The rosogolla, gulab jamon and kamalabhog are prepped in different sizes tailored to your budget. Overall a wonderful experience of quintessential bangla sweetmeats . It feels like Kolkata in Delhi . People driving in private vehicles must be cautioned that parking is always an issue especially in the evenings .
I bought their famed BAKED RASGULLA. It was rasagulla with a baked malai layer on top of it. Didn’t live up to the hype. Also they charged a hefty ₹320 for a box of 6 pieces.
We tried similar shop near the area but this shop's misti doi was much better than others. We had one mishti doi at the shop and brought another cup with other sweets from the shop. Other sweets are also very tasty.
After having lived in bengal for most of my childhood in Kolkata, finding good puchka, chop and sweets in Delhi is a challenge! However, one good alternative is a small quaint sweet shop in C. R. Park! We love the shop for the veg chop, kachha gola and misti doi! Prices are fixed but no bill is given. Go there for some authentic bengali sweets and snacks!
