First time having Dagestanian food and it was delicious! The vibes were super cool where patrons dined at the backyard of a small home. The kebab was fresh and the star of the show were the dumplings! There were a myriad of flavours and each flavour was super tasty. Would definitely return!
On the outside you do not even know that in the inside there is a real gem! Very good restaurant with authentic food. The staff is super nice and helpful. The lamb tartare is great even though I myself would rather put there a bit less of roasted onion as it kills the lamb taste. But other than that everyone was amazing. Especially the mixed dumplings are very flavorful and tasty. Excellent quality for a very good price.
We were looking for a special meal during our week in Tallinn and we found it here! The restaurant is off the regular tourist path but still very easy to access- we walked from old town in about 15 minutes. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, with records playing and a lovely staff. The owner/chef is a lovely woman who explains every dish in detail and answers all your questions so you will understand your options. We had a lovely wine from the region where she is from and a local Estonian beer. We ordered the lamb soup (the owner’s mother’s recipe) and it was incredible- very rich and delicious. We also had the mix of all flavors of Kurze, the dumplings for which the restaurant is named, and each was so beautiful and clearly handmade. We also ordered a gorgeous dish of pastry with cheese and an egg on top, which was incredible the next day for a snack - we had over-ordered and were too full to finish at dinner. I cannot recommend highly enough this beautiful place, where the food is clearly made with love and the vibe is perfect.
What a wonderful place! Great service and good food. I had the best hummus I've ever tasted. Highly recommend a visit. Such a beautiful setup.
