The guy working at the counter could've been a bit more enthusiastic, otherwise the service was spot on. Pizzas were one of the best I've ever eaten. Dough was light and airy, tomato sauce seemed authentic (just salted and crushed tomatoes) and the fatty cheese together with the dough and sauce formed perfect combination. Small, very atmospheric place. Loved it.
Now I must say I’ve ordered it a few times beforehand, and quality was good, but the in-person dining experience is even better. The place looks lovely, very cozy and the pizza is made right in front of you. Waiting for it, one can sneak peak, look into the giant wood oven in anticipation. Between price and quality this might be one of the best in town for sure. The dough is excellent — it’s thin, it’s crusty, and doesn’t really punctuate itself in the bigger picture, leaving the scene to the fillings and toppings. Mine was pizza number 6, and I enjoyed it to the great extent. Could only recommend.
As far as Pizzas go, it's decent, but nothing extraordinary. Slowly hiked the prices to a spot where it no longer makes any sense. They are lucky with the built up hype. Definitely not worthy of the 50 best pizza places in Europe. Having a pizza at their location is impossible, ordering a pizza to your home gets cold by the time it's delivered. Lose-lose if you ask me. Regarding their arrogant behaviour and childish manifestations, here's a good example: they post an instagram reel, hoping it will go viral, with the current trendy song. The pizza makers shown in the reel do not wear any gloves or hairnets whatsoever, both have beards, one has long hair. I ask politely if a hair net and gloves are not the norm, as per EU standards? They block me on instagram. Rest assured, forwarded to food health and safety board. In any case, I can recommend F-Hoone Pizza instead. They comply with all hygiene rules, are cheaper, more central - and their pizza is not soggy with oil or burnt to a black char on the sides (p.s. black burnt pizza base actually is carcinogenic, but who am I to argue with a child manager anyway. believe what you will).
Pizza was tasty and I especially liked the decorarion on the restaurant. Not too expensive. A lot of parking spaces nearby.
