Some good options for vegetarians, rice cake with salted egg yolk (specialty), steamed egg (very nice and smooth), few vegetables options too on the menu. Popular with the locals.
The squirrel mandarin fish is delicious. The fried mandarin fish meat is fried like a squirrel tail, and when it is topped with sweet and sour sauce, it makes a squeaking sound like a squirrel. The red sweet and sour sauce is sour and sweet, and it tastes really good when paired with the crispy and chewy mandarin fish meat.
This time we had Egg Rolls, Chicken with Shiitake Mushrooms, rice, and Vegetable Egg Foo Yong. All the dishes were excellent. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere perfect for our evening. We'll be back on our next trip into Boston....Can't wait !
We usually go to Hei la Moon but decided to give the old reliable a try, since the last time we went (a year or two ago) they had started to have some new stuff. NEVER AGAIN. COLD, OLD FOOD and I'm sure I was overcharged now that I'm reading other reviews. I should have asked for my money back 55.00 for two!????! What a rip off. TERRIBLE, DON'T GO
