Had a memorable dinner on the outdoors terrace, back in 2011. "M on the Bund" aggregated the unlimited energy of Shanghai, its boundless optimism about the future, together with the City's legendary reputation for offering the finest things in life. If you could get a table -- it was the hottest restaurant in town at the time -- the dishes one could enjoy were accordingly sophisticated and refined. Truly, "M on the Bund" was the symbol of the emergence of Shanghai as the World's next great Financial Center, on par with New York and London. Its disappearance leaves an irreplaceable emptiness.
A very nice location to start your evening. The outdoor seating is well appointed. The service was excellent and the food well proportioned and very tasty. The style is Western with Asian influences. The wines were reasonably priced. Like a lot of places you have to look at the buildings list of tenants to see this is on the 5th Floor.
Loved the food! It's typical Shanghai food where the dishes are a bit sweet. We also bought a voucher on Meituab which made it into a package that was very affordable
Amazing food, atmoshere and service. And very close to the bund. We will definetely come back if ever in Shanghai again.
