Really good Sichuan cuisine here. Not really for the faint hearted as the flavours are quite authentic and spicy. Once you get used to the spice level though the dishes are really really enjoyable.
Food here was pretty standard. It wasn't as spicy as I hoped it will be. Mapodofu was the best dish here. Others were not as great. The view was definitely get.
Everything on the menu was overpriced, and lack transparency, price was not clearly written or informed. We were assigned to be served by one waiter, the whole experience was a disaster. Will never ever spend a penny here again.
We visited with a family of 9 and we’re surprised that we were almost the only table there. The staff were friendly but seemed confused. The dishes were flavorful but it seemed to take far too long for an empty restaurant. Many of the cold dishes arrived long after the hot food started to arrive. Strange!? We have noticed that this brand “Southern Beauty” has gone downhill greatly after the investors pushed out the founder. I don’t consider them on my A-list of restaurants any longer. Every visit to a Southern Beauty restaurant since the takeover has been more and more disappointing. That’s a shame!
