Great Shanghainese style cuisine at this restaurant, great service, short wait line to get in but its worth the wait. The food arrives quick though. Really nice dining experience.
We had dinner at HKRI mall. It’s a big outlet and there is no need to wait on a weekday night. Modern and clean setting. The robot with fruit trays is a fun feature. Quick and friendly service. Most of the dishes are tasty. (Hints: items with stars are good recommendations). Reasonable prices for the food and portions are generous. We ordered 5 dishes between 3 adults. Could not finish all the food. We really enjoyed the mushroom with sliced meats and vegetables. Beggar chicken is a delicious choice.
It used to be good in Hangzhou and that was why we decided to eat at this chain in Shenzhen. We were gravely disappointed. Out of 3 dishes, one was average. The other 2 were downright disappointing. They sat us next to the dish washing area. It was so noisy. Sounded like an unhappy worker clanging and banging dishes in the wash area. And yes, he did break some dishes while we were there. Mind you, it was deafening. This shall be my last visit here.
Restaurant chain which serves Shanghaiese food. You will be able to find typical Shanghai dishes at reasonable price. Less queue compare to other restaurants typically found in malls. Worth trying if you are homing for Shanghaiese cuisine.
