Nice restaurant at an upscale location. We celebrated my husband’s birthday dinner here with a large group and the food and service was very good. As we arrived, our table was ready immediately with a direct view to the Shanghai Tower which made the occasion even more spectacular! At the end, they brought a cake with candles and we all sang the Chinese HBD version making it a fun moment. A very enjoyable night and would definitely recommend.
The king crab is amazing! They even have it as an apetizer and its not a small portion! They split it for you too. Comes cold but you really get more flavor that way. I usually order it warm so ask if u want it that way. But i got warm butter so it worked out. Ig im not big on steak bc it just tasted like a normal steak to me. Ill be back for the crab and the bread is outrageously delicious and huge. I ordered the mushrooms and spinach as a side and it was awesome. Overall the view and the food i dont think u can beat it. Not ridiculous price either quite average for the type of restaurant. Id like to try the tomahawk maybe next time but itd be hard not to order a full king crab legs.
We come here quite a few times per year. We usually order the tuna tartare, lobster bisque, caesar salad, crab cake to start. All good , though not outstanding. For mains, we order the chicken and steak. The steak quality varies with what you order, or the price. Wines by the glass are average. Good service 7/10
The steak, the food and drinks in general were as good and expensive as ever. Morton's delivered on the steak once again. Across Asia, this is my favourite steakhouse hands down. In this particular restaurant, you also come for the view of the Pearl Tower - Spectacular day or night! This property has been open for many years, and you can tell that time is starting to take a toll on the furniture and decor in general. The restaurant can use a facelift as it no longer looks as classy as it did in the past. For an important business event, that requires steak...., I would select a different restaurant. Six, or seven years ago it was hard to find a proper steakhouse, but now Shanghai has multiple proper steakhouses.
