The food is delicious. There's also cold beer. I waited over 30 minutes from the time I ordered until the food came out. Let's wait while eating the dates on the table. Also, since it is a local Chinese restaurant, the dishes may be dirty. There is a pot of hot water on the table so you can wash it before eating.
The dining experience at Shandong Laojia was quite nice and the food was quite flavourful. Price wise the meal was affordable.
Usually this place is crowded from 6 to 8pm. It's a chain restaurants. We tried the popular dishes like fish, beancurd soup, ribs, chicken & pancake. Overall they were slightly above average but better than some rated highly by tourists. Mind you this is to locals' taste buds.
