Nice breakfast
The boiled beef was pretty good, the rest was just average, and the overall dish was on the oily side!
The down to earth prices are a reflection of local cost of living. If you go all out ordering more than a few signature dishes, expect to pay CYN1000+ per head. In return, you will get fresh ingredients, good culinary skills and good service plus your private dining room (only private rooms are available). However, expectation of starred or hatted overall experience will be disappointed. We were given a chipped decanter and many of the plates used were way past use by dates - multiple cracks all around.
Always like Chiuchow food and had tried many different places in HK, but this was the best ever Chiuchow cuisine served in the place of origin. Food was fresh and cooked with perfection. Restaurant serves guests in private rooms only and so there is privacy for all individual parties. Services were good. There are too many food choices/ recommendations to individually list out here, just try whatever you want and I guarantee you will like them. Am already hoping I can return soon to try out more choices. Highly recommend.
